Pro2Pro began in 2008 when Frank and Robert saw the need for a shop that could consistently produce quality parts on time and on budget. We noticed that was lacking in many shops and to be honest wasn’t a big priority of many shops. It seemed that other shops felt that if they could make the part then the customer would be happy no matter the lead time. The name Pro2Pro came from the two words Prototype and Production, “Prototype 2 Production,” PRO2PRO. It can also be thought of as Professional to Professional because we are also very professional in our trade. Pro2Pro is an LLC that is comprised of 3 engineers and a precision machinist. Our engineers are loaded with years of practical experience and capable of providing services in the design and development of parts as well as assemblies. The engineers at Pro2Pro cover the mechanical and chemical arenas, with a vast amount of knowledge in biotechnology, catalyst production, oil refining, and fluid flow measurement we can help in the design of products needed for these industries as well as others.

Our lead machinist comes from over a decade of running and managing machine shops. With over 12 years of programming and running machines he can do any job put before him. He has assembled an all star team of precision machinists capable of completing any task in the shop. His background training is in manufacturing engineering and technology. This training can be very advantageous to our customers, by helping them with designing a process for producing products, not just the machining aspect of the part, but also pinpointing the best materials for the job, quality control, finishing, and alternate methods of production. Pro2Pro covers all the bases in manufacturing and provides the best solution for our customers.

Pro2Pro feels a sense of responsibility with every part we make as if it was our own, No matter how big or small the order is. We like to look at the parts we make and say, “WOW, that is a cool part,” or “that is a really nice surface finish.” We pride ourselves in saying that about everything we make. The look of the part is just a piece of the puzzle but that isn’t the only thing that makes a part, it must measure correctly. We always strive for making perfect dimensioned parts, if the tolerance is +/- .005” we don’t look at it that way, we still shoot for exact dimensions.
